Our partner, a leading industrial solutions provider, is seeking a Cost Estimation Engineer to join their team in El Jadida, Morocco. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will play a key role in the pre-sales process by performing technical and financial cost assessments of company solutions. Your work will ensure competitive, profitable project proposals while collaborating closely with the Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Analysis
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on mechanical and electrical sizing.
• Calculate total project costs, incorporating materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Review and analyze Technical Specifications (CPS) to adapt estimates to project requirements.
• Pre-Sales Support
• Assist sales teams during the pre-sales phase with technical expertise.
• Engage in client discussions to understand requirements and present company solutions.
• Recommend optimizations to improve technical performance and reduce costs.
• Collaboration & Supplier Research
• Work closely with the Product Manager to align technical and commercial proposals.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
• Cooperate with internal departments (engineering, production, etc.) to ensure project feasibility.

Required Profile

• Education: Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or related fields.
• Experience: Initial experience of at least 5 years in cost estimation, design office, or pre-sales is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical sizing, proficient in costing tools.
• Personal Qualities: Analytical, rigorous, proactive, team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
